Greetings Parents!
Welcome back to a new school year at Harmony Leland Elementary. This school year, your child will have the privilege of
having two teachers Mrs. Keisha Gordon and Ms. Dawn Glass! We are eager to get started with this new school year and
with this group of scholars. We are confident that together we’ll have a fun and productive year! We are looking forward to teaching your children how to refine their reading skills, how to master the multiplication facts, and so much more! The skills that your child will learn this year will build on the foundation set in previous grades.
Third Grade will prove to be a challenging, but FUN year, that asks students to not only increase his/her skills and knowledge, but to also independently demonstrate skills that he/she has acquired, explain the strategies that he/she used, and support his/her ideas with references from the text and other resources.
